Erika, your words and approach brought thoughtful, intelligent perspective to some pretty chaotic times. Your fact-based steady voice helped many of us see through the chaos and into the depth of the issues that mattered. Thank you, and keep doing what you're doing. We appreciate you!

Erika - the way you have captured the last two years has been absolutely amazing. I found myself looking forward to your next edition each week. You have a way of portryaing what this community has experienced- not with the intention of pursuading opinions, but with the intention of being honest and truthful. Your articles gave people an education, they gave people an understanding, and they gave people a reason to come together and fight for what is right. I cannot thank you enough for all of your efforts and hard work. I hope you continue to write about this community and our schools for years and years to come!

Thank you so much Erika for your column. Your in depth research is impeccable and the heart you bring to each subject is palpable. You have a gift and our little burg is the wiser for it. This column in particular speaks to the soul of who we are as a community and shall continue to be: people who care about each other and have a shared sense what is possible. Please don’t stop shining a light on things. You are our collective conscience. Thank you.

Thank you Erika for your incredibly insightful column. Thank you for caring about our public schools and holding elected officials to account. As a past school board member, a proud parent of LBUSD alumni and a strong supporter of public schools, I am so grateful to see the impressive engagement of our community. Public service matters and it can impact us all. Time to VOTE and invest in the future of our students, staff and schools. Vote Joan, Kimberly and Shaheen and Yes on A. 🚌💙

Thank you Erika!!!!!
